Application/Exam Requirements
5 years experience and 10 hours Continued Education required to take the exam: 5 of the 10 hours must be in code. Multiple license holder only require 10 hours total. $500,000 minimum liability insurance required. Exam administered by International Code Council

Fees
$25 application fee. Exams fees; $70 for paper/pencil exam or $120 for electronic each. Once pass both exams, submit exam scores, proof of liability insurance and $25 to the Board, and they'll issue your certificate good for at least 12 months. Licenses are renewed each year for $60/year
