Requires two years of experience as a licensed journeyman or Department-approved equivalent to apply for a contractor exam. To take the journeyman exam you need to complete an apprenticeship program or Department-approved equivalent

Fees
$75 application fee. $62 exam fee. $75 contractor license fee; $45 for the journeyman application. Licenses expire August 31 each year
