Limitations/Applicability
Apprentice: At least 18 years old, employed by a licensed HVAC contractor, work under a journeymane, maintain enrollment in or successfully complete board approved training, and maintain state registration early. Journeyman: Requires four years experience in trade, in compliance with the requirements of the state in which the applicant received his/her supervisions, or as a register HVAC apprentic
Application/Exam Requirements
Journeyman applicants must complete state HVAC journeyman exam. Contractor applications must complete state HVAC contractor exam and have $2,000 bond.
