Application/Exam Requirements
Must have a 3 years experience in 1 or more of the following work classifications under the supervision of a licensed contractor: Hydronic heating and cooling and process piping, HVAC equipment, Ductwork, Refrigeration, Limited heating service, Unlimited heating service, Limited refrigeration and air conditioning service, Unlimited refrigeration and air conditioning service, Fire Suppression, Specialty License (Solar, Solid fuel, LP tank and pipe, Underground tank and pipe, Gas piping, Gas piping and venting
Must pass exam
Fees
$25 exam fee, but can take as many trade exams at one time as you want for that fee. $75 license fee. $50 to be paid to Construction Lien Recovery Fund. License is good for 1 year, but all expire December 31 each year.
