Must either be a licensed master electrician or employ a licensed master electrician who will be responsible for all the electrical work your company does..
Application/Exam Requirements
$5,000 bond, $100,000 liability insurance per occurrence, $300,000 aggregate, and property damage insurance for $300,000 per occurrence, $300,000 aggregate. There are no experience requirements for contractor licenses.
Fees
License fees cost from $25 to $200, depending on when you get it. Electrical contractor license good for two years, expiring the end of February each even-numbered year. The alarm and communication contractor license is good for two years, expiring June 30 each odd-numbered year
