Limitations/Applicability
Must have a Residential Building license to build any residence which is three stories or less in height if the cost of the project is more than $50,000. Must have a Residential Remodeler's license to remodel any residence if the cost of the project is more than $10,000.
Application/Exam Requirements
Must have workers' compensation insurance and liability insurance. Federal and Mississippi tax is required. Must pass a Residential Trade Exam administered by PSI Examination Services

$50 application fee. $75 exam fee. License is good for 1 year
