Ontario has actually announced that it will go oil free very soon. The province would like to make Canada the first non oil dependent country. It is with this lead that the other countries will follow. There will be millions of dollars in investment for this project which will eventually become successful.
A Canadian businessman called Shai Agassi has made an announcement that it will come up with electric cars in the market soon. He has called the new electric car company as car 2.0. For his dream to come true, the Ontario government will have to invest billions of dollars in infrastructure projects and will also have to set up battery exchanging stations across the country. Canada may soon become the first and the prime placed for maximum number of electric cars in the world.
BullFrog Power, Agassi and Ontario will be jointly working on this infrastructure. Many oil and electric companies are now switching their focus from fossil fuels to being renewable energy producers.
