Free Energy Audit

Have a certified energy audit profession come to your home or business to conduct a free energy usage and savings audit. This service is available to registered consumers when you create a project and choose energy audit as the type of project. Then you specify one or more site visit dates that you are available.

Certified Professional Auditors that service your area can then respond with which of these dates they can come or they may suggest an alternative site visit dates that you can approve. Click here for more info in how site visit dates work.

These professionals can review your current energy efficiencies and deficiencies and produce an energy audit document that can recommend improvements such as:

- additional insulation, caulking, and sealing air leakages
- upgrades to more energy efficient heating and cooling systems
- switching out old energy efficient appliances for new more efficient ones
- switching to energy efficient light bulbs and lighting products
- upgrading to more energy efficient windows and doors
- applicability or installing renewable energy sources such as solar and wind

You can then proceed to purchase new energy efficient and/or renewable energy products from EcoCompass suppliers and open projects to receive bids on the installation of these. The audit professional may also provide an estimate for these and other services that they recommend in their audit document.
